Selection Process: Finalists are are nominated and selected from a statewide media panel in Kansas of over 45 people that work in sports (radio, television, social media, website) across the state in every corner of the state. Chet Kuplen along with Sports in Kansas staff members handle the vote count to decide finalists. Every media voter is asked to pick a Player of the Year from each class and those votes are counted by Sports in Kansas. Winners will be announced on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of March.
