Uniontown softball has opened 6-0 heading into a key home doubleheader against Arma-Northeast on Monday. Uniontown started with 16-1 and 21-0 victories against Chetopa on March 27.
Three days later, Uniontown rolled over Marmaton Valley, 18-0 and 18-7. On April 1, Uniontown defeated Oswego, 14-7 and 18-7. In the Uniontown regional, Jayhawk-Linn and Uniontown are both 6-0, and Arma-Northeast is 4-0.
Uniontown continued to improve after an 8-10 mark in 2021. Last season, Uniontown finished 13-6 with a bevy of freshmen and sophomores. Last year’s non-senior group included Reece Gorman, Madison Shepard, Macy Schoenberger, Rylee Coulter, Brooklyn Dreisbach, and Emily Greenway.
