The Trojans, who moved back up to Class 4A this season, picked up a tournament championship over the weekend at the Wilson County Classic as they improved to 7-4 after Tuesdays CNC win over Baxter. Girard has won the last four games in a row over Bluestem, Fredonia, Cherryvale and Baxter.
